Xanax Addiction

Cyberspace has taught man one thing, love for shortcuts. Today, people prefer the easy way out and when they are at a loss in the labyrinths of life, they try to escape it instead of facing it. Since the concept of escapism is implanted on man's subconsciousness, naturally they are prey for addiction. There are many kinds of addiction such as alcohol, drugs, prescription drug addiction and Xanax Addiction. In fact, Xanax Addiction became popular because a lot of people used medicines to drown their sorrows and anxieties away. Xanax is a medicine used to treat depression, anxiety, stress, and panic attacks. If one will notice these are not diseases that need to be treated. Depression is cause by man's defeat attitude towards their problems and struggles. Panic attacks and anxiety as well are not really disease, it resulted from man's inability to cope with the changes and uncertainties of life.

Xanax is said to help people relax. It is considered as a depressant, which is one of the most commonly abused prescription drugs. Xanax should only be used and not abused, when prescribed by the doctors. Use of xanax without prescription and advise of doctors would result to xanax dependency and tolerance, otherwise known as Xanax Addiction.

On the first use of xanax, the person would immediately feel sleepy and tired since the depressants decrease brain activity. The moment they would withdraw from it, what happens is that they feel different because the brain will go back to its normal activity level. For this reason, doing away from xanax use would be very difficult and takes a great deal of effort and will power for the person to surpass it. Xanax Addiction can cause harmful effects on the body since it primarily hits the brain. Although Xanax Addiction is a serious health problem, it can be treated and the person can go back to his normal life.
